2009 Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony
In celebration of the spirit of support and empowerment put into action every day at Bell Socialization Services, we gather every fall to recognize those who have shown exemplary personal achievements, outstanding service and dedicated community support.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2009, Bell's Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony was held at The Yorktowne Hotel, York, with 120 guests in attendance. After opportunity to greet and mingle, the audience was welcomed by Board member Aimee Miller who acknowledged fellow members of the Bell Board of Directors in attendance, as well as event sponsors (see list below). Following the invocation by the Reverend Brenda Ferree, a bountiful luncheon was served.
AWARDS
The awards portion of the event began with words from Bell's executive director, Ike Hileman, who spoke about the agency's ongoing commitment to providing quality services for individuals. Hileman expressed appreciation to staff for their dedicated efforts in light of budget cuts and the state budget impasse. Working with the management team on strategic planning this year, Hileman said, was important as program growth began to level, allowing opportunity to focus on goals toward achieving the mission.
